  1. We use MovieMaker for the videos. It is great, but has some glitches, and you can’t add the callout boxes like you can in PowerPoint. I have also hear of ppl that use Photo Story for claymation movies. It was a great project for the kids to do. Our movies were about national symbols for a cultural induction program. Kids pulled a country out of a hat and then had to research the flower, flag, animal, national dress, famous foods from that country and even the money/currency. They then had to use a claymation to show these national symbols, with appropriate music from that country. Videos were showed at the cultural day. All had fun and we learnt heaps through the Jigsaw technique, as the “experts” of a country had to tell other students what they found, and they in turn then learnt from other “experts”. A great way to encourage collaboration and team work in class.
